We know it’s still the jolly holiday season, but New Year’s Eve will be here before you know it! Dances of Vice: Demimonde Speakeasy - The DTA hosts Dances of for an evening of "Demimonde." Featuring performances from cabaret performers set in a four-story, old world speakeasy setting, here is your chance to end your year (& start your new year) with a little adventure.

New Year’s Eve Bike Ride & Afterparty - While it’s not below Canal Street, it’s still downtown (and all over town, actually). This non-profit-driven ride includes a ‘round-the-city exploration and ends with a great afterparty (and free valet bike parking). 

New York’s Largest Singles New Year’s Party Presented By - Includes entry, complimentary drink (8-9pm only), limited hors d’oeuvres (8-9pm only), complimentary champagne at midnight, live DJ's and more!

Watch Fireworks on The Brooklyn Bridge - Want a great view of the fireworks for free? Enjoy a midnight stroll on the bride. You can even book a walking tour that goes through the fireworks to learn more about the history of the bridge while enjoying the views.

Coney Island Polar Bear Club New Year’s Day Swim - Nothing say’s ‘new year new you’ like hopping on the subway at jumping into the ocean at Coney Island in January. The Coney Island Polar Bear Club’s annual New Year's Day Swim invites hundreds of swimmers to venture out into the ocean. We dare you. Just don’t forget to bring a donation to benefit local Coney Island organizations including the NY Aquarium and the Alliance for Coney Island.

Sea Of Light - Sea of Light is an immersive sensory adventure activated by movement and sound at the Seaport. Open through March 2018.
