-Thursday 8/30 through Sunday 9/9 - US Open Live Viewing (FREE) - Can't make it to Queens? Watch the US Open day matches and finals live on the Terrace August 27 through September 9!
-Thursday 8/30 - Strings-On-Hudson: Harlem Quartet (FREE) - Grammy-winning Harlem Quartet graces Belvedere Plaza in a program that reflects the group’s mission to advance diversity in a classical music. This string quartet performance pairs works of Debussy and Schubert with Brazilian, Cuban, Jazz and Ragtime repertoire.
-Thursday 8/30 - Seaport Fit (FREE/RSVP NEEDED) - Beginning tonight, Seaport Square at Pier 17 will host FREE fitness classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays curated and led by some of New York’s top fitness experts. Classes include boot camp, circuit training, yoga, and more. Classes are free but space is limited so be sure to RSVP to secure your spot.
-Friday 8/31 - Sunset Jam on the Hudson (FREE) - Rhythm and grooves fill the air at this Friday evening program. Follow the lead of professional drummers as they guide you through the pulsating beats of traditional African drumming techniques and methods.
-Friday 8/31 - South Street Seaport Museum Free Fridays (FREE) - The Museum launches Free Fridays today, with free admission to theMuseum every Friday till September 21 from 3-7PM.
-Saturday 9/1 - Brookfield Place Fitness Series (FREE/RSVP NEEDED) - Join for a free fitness class at the Waterfront Terrace! Advanced registration guarantees a spot. Walk-ins are encouraged and accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
-Sunday 9/2 - Lazy Sundays (FREE) - End your week on a high note with water views, cold drinks and summer beats courtesy of Brookfield Place's DJs.
-Sunday 9/2 - Big City Fishing (FREE) - Adults and kids aged 5+ can learn how to fish while engaging with trained environmental educators about river science topics. HRP provides the rods, reels and instruction.
-Sunday 9/2 - Fulton Stall Market Outdoor Farmer's Market (FREE) - This year the Sunday market will include guest chefs from Seaport District and Lower Manhattan restaurants offering tastes of their menus and featuring local and seasonal ingredients sourced from the market’s farmers.
-Tuesday 9/4- Gardening Club (REGISTRATION NEEDED) - Discover the fun and rewards of gardening with other children. Enjoy planting flowers, vegetables and herbs, watering, weeding, and composting. Learn BPC Parks’ green practices first-hand. For ages 6-10.
-Wednesday 9/5 – Healthy On The Hudson (FREE RSVP NEEDED) – Join every Wednesday for a free fitness class on Pier 25 until 9/12.

-Black Gotham Experience - Check out the visual storytelling project highlighting the profound connection between the African Diaspora and New York City, as photographic artist Kamau Ware shares his celebration of New York’s Black heritage with Seaport District NYC (192 Front Street). Experience a series of walking tours, graphic novels, film screenings, and workshops in an exhibition of New York’s Black heritage.
-Sunset, Sunrise (Revolution) (FREE) - This temporary public art installation at Pier A Plaza is an interactive, large-scale sculpture designed specifically for the site. It consists of 27 aluminum panels embedded with 9,000 crystal prisms activated by natural light, and is based on a previous, three-panel installation in Austin, Texas, titled Hyperprism. The artwork will be on view through the summer of 2018 in front Pier A Harbor House, located at 22 Battery Place and the Hudson River.
