FOOD & DRINK: Fulton Stall Market's Winter CSA Farm (1.7.18)
Just because the temperatures drop and the Market at the Oculus has closed for the season doesn’t mean you can’t support local and get fresh produce!
The Fulton Stall Market’s 2019 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm Share program begins its 7th consecutive season this week on January 10, connecting locals with fresh food directly from Fulton Stall Market’s local farmers and producers.
The Winter CSA runs through March 21 (11 weeks). Pick-up is on Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:00 PM at FSM's indoor store at 91 South St.
Want in? You can subscribe in advance for 11 weeks of hearty local winter vegetables, eggs, cheese, bread, fruit/pie/cider, pasta, mushrooms, seafood, chicken, beef, and/or pork from FSM’s family farmers and producers, plus locally sourced soups from Fulton Stall Market’s “Soup Lady” Margot Reiss of Kitchen 36!
Sign up ASAP for the remaining spots online at Fulton Stall Market’s CSA website or in-person at Fulton Stall Market, 91 South St. bet. Fulton & John Sts. (open 11:30 AM-6 PM daily). You can also do less than the 11 weeks, with the cost pro-rated based on number of weeks remaining in the season.
Why this is important: As a CSA member, you’ll join with your neighbors to enable Fulton Stall Market’s participating farmers and producers to produce and deliver high quality food to Fulton Stall Market for convenient pickup by you! Your 11-week pre-paid Farm Share investment will go directly to the farmers and producers to help cover their production costs - an economic win-win that helps sustain and grow our local food system now and for the future. You’ll meet friends and neighbors, receive weekly product notices, and enjoy special food tastings by Fulton Stall Market’'s small-batch producers at the weekly CSA pickup!
