Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching, and a few of you have reached out asking what to do downtown with your families. Considering it is both of our first Mother's Day as actual moms (still weird!), we're pretty stoked.

So, by special request, we’ve rounded up some of the events happening downtown to celebrate.

*Candle Making For Mothers Day (TICKETS NEEDED) - May 10th AND May 11th 7-9:30PM

Come and learn how to make candles with DeeLight in observation of Mothers Day. You'll learn how to make candles from scratch using natural soy wax and will leave with your own unique candle made specially for your Mom. Customized label included. Tickets here.

*Mother’s Day Storytime: Barnes & Nobles Tribeca - Barnes & Nobles Tribeca - May 13th (11AM - FREE)

This hilarious, heartwarming new story about raising a happy, healthy mom is filled with charming role-reversal humor, creative ideas and lots of love! Activities to follow. 

*Free Mother’s Day Brunch & Family Fun - Kidville FiDi  - May 14th (10:20AM to 12PM - Tickets required)

A free Mother’s Day brunch and “family fun day”!  for expecting moms or moms of kids 1 and younger Learn about what Kidville has to offer and enjoy food, gym time, a concert for kids and a photobooth!

*EB Florals PA w/Eric Buterbaugh - Saks Downtown - Saturday May 13th (2-5PM)

Meet EB Florals founder Eric Buterbaugh as he shows you how to create the perfect floral bouquet and fragrance pairing. RSVP:

(NOTE: The 2nd floor has a Mother’s Day pop-up shop focused on gifts for moms now until Sunday!)


*ATRIO Wine Bar & Restaurant - May 14th (12-3PM - Reservations required/$85 per adult/$35 per child for kids ages 4-12/kids under 4 free)

Spring brunch buffet with table-side children activities provided by the Children’s Museum of the Arts.

*Fowler & Wells - May 14th $60 for a three-course prix fixe, $35 for kids (Reservations required)

Tom Colicchio’s latest restaurant, the brunch menu will include its foie gras with strawberries, baked eggs with leeks and black truffle, and strawberry-rhubarb pie.

*The Palm Tribeca – May 14th (11am – 3pm $35pp, $14pp) kids 6-11 and kids under 5 eat free (Reservations required)

A neighborhood favorite is offering a two course family friendly brunch where kids under 5 eat FREE! Enjoy typical brunch fare as well as some steak and lobster dishes.
