Dr Raphael Lilker is New York’s Foot Doctor. Dr Lilker ‘s practice is called The Foot Doctor of New York and it’s no surprise that Downtown is home to his office. Dr Raphael Lilker has been treating New Yorkers foot and ankle conditions for almost a decade. Dr Lilker has extensive experience in painful bunion and hammertoe corrective surgeries, neuromas, ankle sprains and strains, fracture care, tendinitis injuries, ingrown toenails, and all skin and soft tissue issues.Dr. Lilker's office is open to all. Specialized podiatry care for pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

What makes your practice so unique?

Dr Lilker has a unique and one of a kind specialty. Dr Lilker specializes in providing necessary foot care to cancer patients. Dr Lilker studied intensely at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and treats secondary skin and nail changes brought upon by chemotherapy and radiation. He is an approved providing podiatrist of MSKCC. Dr Lilker and his team have lectured at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and recently published a first article of its kind regarding foot care of the cancer patient in the Journal of The American Podiatric medical association.

Why own a business downtown?

“This past June I officially opened my own brand new practice in the heart of TriBeCa. “ Dr Lilker’s heart is in downtown New York. As a young volunteer firefighter who assisted in the 9/11 recovery during his sophomore year of college, Dr Lilker pledged to one day return and continue the rebuilding process in the area. “It is extra special to pass the Freedom Tower each morning on the way into work. It’s no coincidence that the intials to my practice are FDNY. “

What are your go-to spots downtown?

The Freedom Tower, Church Street Boxing, Nish Nush for its fast and delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and The Wall Street Grill for a mean steak.

What's new to your practice?

Dr Lilker brings his passion of treating sports related injuries to Tribeca’s booming boutique exercise fanatics. Dr Lilker has a brand new modern office with a state of the art digital xray machine and ultrasound, cryo therapy for neuromas, computerized gait analysis with 3D capture capabilities to make the best fitting custom orthotics, fully capable of treating any foot and ankle condition in-house. A super cool feature are customized Birkenstock’s molded to your individual foot.

What can locals expect when they come to your practice?

Dr Lilker’s office is warm and welcoming with a friendly staff. Patients can expect a small town personalized bedside manner in the big city. The waiting room and most treatment rooms boast spectacular views of the Freedom tower.
