FOOD + DRINK: Where To Drink Below Canal Part 3: Battery Park (7.10.17)

Part three of our three part series highlighting some of the best places from dive bars to chic cocktail bars below canal. Today were are highlighting Battery Park including one of the "world's best bars". Don't forget to check out our rundowns of Financial District & Tribeca. Cheers!

Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar (102 North End Ave)

Nothing says summer like enjoy boozy popsicles (we love the Peach Chamomile Punch and the Raspberry Basil Smash) dipped in oversized glasses of prosecco on a rooftop.

Blacktail At Pier A (22 Battery Pl)

The Dead Rabbit team’s latest bar & restaurant is themed around Cuba during Prohibition.

Pier A Harbor House (22 Battery Pl)

28000- square foot indoor & outdoor venue with food, drinks and a killer view. It’s hard to pass up on their soft pretzels and local beer selection. Dog and stroller friendly!

Treadwell Park (301 South End Ave)

The newest beer garden in the neighborhood, this is the perfect spot for all ages, no matter the weather. With outdoor seating, ping pong, Jenga on every table, serve-yourself movie theater popcorn, arcade games, pretzels larger than your head, and a strong selection of beers from across New York and the country, it’s a great place for your next happy hour or even rainy afternoon.

Le Bar (Le District)

The highlight of Le District, this outdoor area features great seasonal cocktails (hello froze), happy hour bites (we love the truffle fries & tuna tartar) and, most importantly, you can’t beat the waterfront views when the weather is nice. Get there early to carve out a spot. They’ll let you bring strollers, and have plenty of table space to accommodate larger groups.
