Here are a few of our favorites coming up over the weekend:
-Thursday 10/26 - Designing the Workplace of the Future: Imagining an Inclusive and Equitable Workplace (RSVP Required) - As organizations work to increase inclusivity in the workforce, a question begs to be asked: Do more diverse workspaces benefit from designs with a focus on equity? Claire Weisz founding partner at WXY architecture + urban design, will lead a panel discussion at LMHQ that makes the case for office design to modernize alongside office culture—and what that looks like.
-Friday 10/27 - Volez, Vogyez, Voyagez - Louis Vuitton (FREE but reservations required) - Opening TODAY, yhe showcase, which details the French brand’s roots via trunks, steamer bags and other historic paraphernalia, lands at the former American Stock Exchange building for a nine-week run.
-Friday 10/27 - Night of 1,000 Jack O’Lanterns (TICKETS REQUIRED) - Night until the 29th, light up New York Harbor with more than 1,000 illuminated pumpkins carved by local artists (some are 100 pounds!). Hurry this event always sells out!
-Saturday 10/28 - Brookfield Place Halloween Bash (FREE) - Join a costume catwalk, quiet clubbing, photo booth and more!
-Saturday 10/28 - 3rd Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest (FREE) - Sponsored by The Friends of Washington Market Park, this is a free community event with trophies awarded in multiple categories: scariest, funniest and most creative to name a few. Bring your own pumpkin to enter, or just stop by with your family to enjoy the festive display!
-Sunday 10/29 - Seaport Halloween Block Party (FREE) - Celebrate Halloween with the kids at the historic Seaport District.
-Tuesday 10/31 - 1st Annual Tuck Halloween Costume Party (TICKETS REQUIRED) - Featuring the sounds of DJ Marvelous, paired with spooky hand-crafted cocktails created by resident Master Barman Adam Seger and haunting bites curated by Chef Greg.
Don’t forget about these ongoing exhibits:
